Is your husband depressed, or is he depressing you? Hard to tell from this question, would like more details, Please! If he's depressed, try talking to him to find out just what the reason is for his depression, if he's depressing you, do the same, talk to him and explain why you are depressed. If this doesn't work, try counseling to find out the reasons.

I went through the same thing with my husband - he needs medicated. See if he will take one of those online depression screening tests, maybe once he sees he's depressed he'll be willing to go get help. Also - your family doctor can treat depression. You could set him up for a physical with your family doctor, when you make the appointment tell them what is going on and have the doctor address it.
If nothing works you have to be patient, it's a medical condition, he can't help it - handle him with love and understanding, being that he's depressed he probably doesn't even want to get out of bed let alone go see a doctor. He will eventually miss the life he used to have and will want to get help. If you nag him you'll make him feel worse - just remember, he doesn't want to be this way.

Try finding out what is depressing him, like work or finance. If he won't tell you you can always seek councelling.
