Could anyone give me a rough price on how much it would cost me to have a cd player fitted into my car? Thanx

I have already purchased the cd player, its a goodmans one and it has the facia and the back with all the wires needed i think!! I'm sure its just a case of taking out my old radio and inserting the cd player!

Depending on the make and the model. I would say budget for around £80. To include the cd player purchase too.

Edit to add.

Take your car and cd along to Halfords, they should be able to fit it for around £20.

I have an ipod now in place of a car cd player in my car. The reason is because some of my friends have had there car jacked, and one of things stolen was their cd player for the car. An ipod is easy to use and carry, it now even connects to your vehicle as if it were a car cd player, i think the best part is knowing that you can take to with you no matter where you go. other than serving as a replacement for a cd player (and in the car too) you could do so much more. ipods nano (which i recomend) cost $149 and can store up to 2,000 songs! and they come in cool colors.

depends on the car+cd player. about 70-100 quid fitted for a cheap one depending on where you go. the lead to make it fit some vehicles costs 15 quid and you might need a facia costing around the same

You can get a basic one for no more than £49.99. A little more and you can have necessary extras, like playing the stuff you have on your mp3 player through the car player. Pay around £100, incl fitting, and you will get one that is more than good enough!

Any mate'd do it for you for about a fiver!
It really is that easy. I think Halfords charge a tenner.
Go to where you got it from, play the ignorant motorist, they'd have to have a heart o stone to turn you down.
Forget these specialist car centres..
