Hmm yes chadders you make a very interesting point.
Does that mean every time the government changes, the slant of the BBC changes in accordance with it?

No I have no vested interests at all despite what you might think.
I'm English, Christian, Middle of the road politically, just something I've picked up is a huge pro-left wing, pro-muslim slant of the bbc.
And yes I'd wager that I've travelled far more extensively than you, so DO try not to be quite so patronising...

The BBC is blantantly Pro-Muslim and hence Anti-Jew, US and Christian like most muslims i've met.
Ignore the people above. For some reason, they have failed to see everyother TV program about Islam on the BBC. I'm so bored about hearing about Islam on the BBC. It's like they have an agenda to convert everyone.
After 9/11 and 7/7, it was a disgrace. All they did was focus on how the Muslim have been treated since these incidents. They would interview people in street and you would hearing them moaning about, "how some looked at me strangely the other day".
It was a kick in face of the victims and their families. I don't think these people actually watch the BBC!

I don't have to ask you to believe that the BBC is left wing. It admits that it is. What can we expect when it advertises all its job vacancies in the Guardian.
It certainly has an anti Israel and America bias. It supports all the PC nonsense, multiculturalism, feminism etc. It is, with the exception of the Iraqi war, pro Labour.
Yes, as you imply, it has, as a publically funded broadcaster, a positive duty to be impartial. Instead, it churns out, often in very subtle ways, left wing bias and propaganda, using the news, soaps, discussion programmes etc, to achieve this.
Things are actually worse than that, though, because this Government, aided and abetted by the TV channels in general, have been slowly moving the centre ground of politics to the left. So, the perception now, particularly amongst the young, is that, the views they represent are now seen as the centre ground, and not left of centre. Another inevitable consequence of this, is that former centre ground opinions are seen as right wing. The Tories are seen as right wing, even when they are espousing what I would consider to be centre ground common sense.
I often run into difficulties on this sight, mainly with younger people, who automatically think that the British terrestrial TV channels all represent the centre ground, and, anyone who doesn't agree is labelled right wing, fascist, nazi, or racist, when in reality it is where our common sense patriotism used to reside. It just proves that they have successfully indoctrinated/brainwashed much of the public.
I agree with you, unbiased. I see a flying pig.

After many years of watching/listening to the BBC, I'd say it is very even-handed. Its views pretty much tally with what I have seen myself on the ground in the Middle East. Sorry.

I don't think it is your imagination The BBC has been against the war in Iraq since the begining and this has great influence on their view of USA at least. search war on Iraq and you will find I am not the only one who has noticed this.

BBC lost their bias rating when they started promoting the 9/11 consiparcies.
So I don't believe it is imagination they use to be unbias but they are going the way of news here.

It is my feeling that this time it is your imagination, look at it like this if you were watching a sporting event and rooting for a particular team you would always note when a ref made a decision against you but skim those for. People always think the ref is bias towards the opposition.
In this case i feel you have a vested interest in the American Jewish angle so note every bad word spoken against.

How can the BBC be unbiased when it's existence depends on the government to provide it's funding through the licence fee?

From what I see here compared to world new agencies the BBC is in fact 'pro' Jews, USA and Israel, as most of the BBC's news coverage seems to follow CNN, and we know where their sentiments lie. If you want to see real bias against Jews, the US and Israel, ask any of their neoghbours.
Are you Jewish USA and Israel connected? Can I assume you haven't travelled much if you think the BBC is biased that way? I hope you are not in for too much of a shock when you encounter what the rest of the world thinks.

I have not any thought. Christians bash the Pagans, yet do not hesitate to take part in Pagan holiday trips. Many, if not all the yankee holiday trips that are celebrated at present have been created by potential of Pagans. Christmas is even a Pagan holiday! actual Christianity does not sell the observance of ANY holiday trips in any know. we are to observe not something or mark the time with any celebratory adventure. not EVEN your guy or woman BIRTHDAY!!!! For extra approximately this, see Jehovah's Witnesses ideals and regulations of the religion.
