if they are elderly ALWAYS call the ambulance because they could have broken bones that they don't know about because older people may have a higher tolerance for pain or they may have other problems to make them not feel as much pain so if they fall leave them were they are and NEVER move them leave that to the professionals that come with the ambulance. because they could have a spinal injury

What I would do if an elderly employer fail down from dizziness, first of all I would make sure they are breathing, Tell someone to call 911, have them to get the manager or person in charge, then you ask the elderly person if they could stand, if they can ,have them set in a chair until the paramedics get there, if they can't, let them lay there on the floor until the paramedics get there, but you try to make them as comfortable as possible, ask if anything hurt, what's hurting? try to keep them very still until help arrive's, make sure that you have all of her/ his information before help get there so they won't have to spend extra time trying to find out what's wrong with her/him you can let them know when they get there to same time. they can go a head and work on her/him while on the way to the hospital instead of doing paper work , that ground would already be covered, they can just get on with her/his treatments. With an elderly person you can never be to careful.

Check that they are OK / conscious etc.

Call his / her doctor to make a house call.

Make sure that they are happy for you to help them back into bed, just beware of broken / fragile bones or other injuries.

Rinse cuts and grazes and apply sterile bandage.
