Well if you spent your life in a cage- such as living upto the medias description of a britney spears or risk loosing her fan base
eg how whan them advertising you as a virgin and then your fan base growing rapidly, do you continplate a step down after loosing your virginity, scary if you are afraid of loosing some or many of your fans
I would go mad eventually too- I think any normal person would.
Think of it like a diet, you starve youself all day, dont eat, and then loose it at the sight of a cake. And its never just one bite or one nibble, its the whole damn cake- cumbs included!
Liken this to britneys living on a very thin line- living upto expectations, and thus not ever being yourself. You get a break, you act out once- one britney example is dumping your partnber in a very public way, and boom, everything else comes tumbling down.
-and the worst thing is-in you attempt to rebell and shun everything the media created of "you",, they still love "you " for it! so you take it one step further- go on a few benders. Still they dont see how trapped you feel, so you do one more thing to say "LOOK! I AM NOT THE BRITNEY SPEARS YA'LL KEEP READING ABOUT- I AM A REAL PERSON". and you chop your hair off.
I dont think she is as mad as everyone is making out. I think if she kepot on along the straight and narrow at size zero and a life time ofshows and living upto everyones expectations- despite being hounded for every imperfection- now that would be mad. If she could maintain that she would indeed be superwomen.or God, And if I or anyone else were to get on to the news channel clkaiming we were God,...

Who knows, I'm starting to wondering if its a publicity stunt, because she is was that bad surely her family would make sure that she was no longer in the media eye and take her off somewhere so that she could recover. But no-ones doing that, so it could just be a staged thing to win over more fans, and then in a few months a new Britney CD hits the shops

She's not so bad. It's just that sometimes you go through to much garbage and you really just have enough. The only difference is when celebrities do it, the press makes it out as if they are loons so they can sell their papers. And plus since people like are always in the public eye and never get a moment of privacey, they also feel closed in.
She's basically just pissed at her x-husband.

She's lost it. Of course, the tabloids love to exaggerate, but her actions inevitably prove they are more or less correct. She has been lost ever since her high fame days, the I'm a Slave for You cheating on Justin days. Hopefully she will find herself and get help. It was moronic of her to bring kids to this world when her brain was a MESS!!!!! I hate when parents do that. It is so wrong.

Whenever someone is on drugs, that's what can happen to your behavior patterns. Even at the risk of losing her kids, she would most likely prefer to do lines with Paris Hilton. Too bad. Hopefully she'll rebound. If not to stardom, but at least to be a better mom for her kids.

Shes not mad .. the poor girl is obviously near breaking point , it happens to people everyday but just because she`s kinda famous she`s being made a laughing stock .. I really feel for her i hope she gets through this ..

Desperately mad, and as "life is" has said, I don't think she'll be coming back anytime soon, at least professionally speaking. The sad truth to it might be as "it's just me" says, she's not mad, she's just crying for help, and, having been a mental health practitioner for 20+ years, now retired, I can give both points of view my "stamp of approval".
