Hi everyone
Startin 7 days ago ive been feeling this tension in middle of my chest. Sort of like there is a lump stuck in the middle.
At first i ignored it however 7 days later i still feel it and it hurts when lean forward, backward..or regular stance..i can still feel it a lil
when i cough or deep breathe it also hurts.
However i went to doctors and they did lung chekup..and im fine
also my cardio graph result was fine too..so i dont know whats goin on now
im pretty scared ...what if its cancer or a lung trauma or etc
this has affected my life in the past 5 days and ive been pretty much on a halt in all my everyday tasks.
what do you guys think is wrong?
im very healthy guy usually..no diabetes, cholestrol, etc

This could be a number of things but I think you might have narrowed it down to just a few. First lets put to rest your concerns. If it were cancer, lung trauma, or some other major concern it would have shown up on the cardio graph or the inspection. So here is what it could be. A strained diaphragm is a likely possibility which could occur several ways; to include screaming, coughing, sneezing, etc. Also it could simply be a strained abdominal muscle since they continue up the torso to the lower pectoral muscles. Either of these strains could explain your soreness when moving and even breathing. Plus 5 days is not enough time for such an injury to heal since you use both your diaphragm and abdominal CONTINUOUSLY! Even in your sleep. Allow an additional 2-4 weeks for healing but if the pain should increase, see your doctor and request either a x-ray or ultrasound. This will reveal any abnormalities but I am sure you simply strained something.

Sounds like you have an irritation where your ribs meet your sternum(chondritis). Can you press on the area and make it hurt? If this is what you have don't worry, it will go away.
