It varies from place to place, but here in my state its generally around the 3rd week in March.

It depends on where you live.
When I was in high school ( it feels like a long time ago!) ours was the first week of April. In college, it was around the second week of March.
Now that it means virtually nothing to me, I cringe at the thought of thousands of tourists flocking to my area, ugh.

Here in Canada (at least in BC) it is March 19-23
