I am answering based on what I was taught during my secondary school days.
Basically, the B-series (ranging from HB, 2B, all the way to 8B) is a series denoting the extent of the pencil shades, varying from the softest and lightest (i.e. HB) to the hardest and darkest (i.e. 8B).

to be or not to be sorry it is from Shakespeare the difference is the gradient in the led or none is the carbon it is not really how dark it is more that the density of the lead pencil it has a grate range of types from HB 2B 4B 6B 6B is darker than the 2B there all yoused differently for the gradient and shade of the design that you intend to create and it is the bases of the finale product or painting that maybe created later for you will learn as you go good luck some one may have more for you have fun with your drownings and don't press to hard on the paper or canvas

The pencils are rated by how much clay vs carbon (lead) they contain. 9H has the most clay, therefore will be the hardest and will maintain the sharpest point. You will be very surprised how pitch-black the darkest B will be, almost as if it is entirely carbon. I am currently doing a lot of work with Staedler pencils.
Pencils range from 9H-9B in my experience. The major brands I use are Staedler and Derwent, and you can buy a complete set from both of these companies.

the nutral one is ur HB,......2B, 3B......6B,8B are all darker shades..
similarly 2H.....3H are all lighter shades....
In normal drawing darker pencil used is 6B.....if u wana more, then u can use CHARCOAL....specifically used for shade drawings.
