I'm thinking of starting up an animal daycare and kennel. How much should be charged for each service?

My friend started a full time doggie daycare a year ago I think she set it at a basic $2 per hour with a small discount for full time clients. Some people just want to drop off for a few hours a week for socialization and excersize, they don't need to do a full day. She can't get the overnight permit for her building so I'm not sure how that differs. They do drop off grooming priced per pet and a You Groom station for $ 5 or 10. The you groom is nice for people with big dogs they can wash them more easily in the high tubs with all the equipment. Good luck it's a very popular business

My kennel at the Vet charged $10.00 per day. And another pet sitting service charges $8.00 but they did not give the dogs that much attention. I would look for quality care where ever I went.

I live in Italy, but I can tell you that when we need a dog sitter we pay 15,00 euro per day for our dog. Some places charge as little as 10,00 euro per day but the dogs are in pens and don't have one-on-one interaction with the sitter. For 20,00 euro per day you can put your dog up in a "dog villa" where they accept a limited number of dogs and cook gourmet food for them. We decided to go middle-of-the-road and found our dog sitter to be just what we were looking for (someone with a true passion for dogs, not just for the money). Buona fortuna!
