Prove to them you are not the person by using a passport, also ask them to call their office to explain the person no longer lives their and what actions they must then take....
If they still insist, just go see a solicitor and sue them for aggravation and compensation for cause of stress....

This is a big problem. Call the Police. Say you are being attacked by bandits and may have to use violence to protect your property. This should work.
You have to do this very early on, because they will try to force their way in. The might ransack your house whilst you are out.

The bailiffs must be acting on behalf of somebody else, have you tried contacting them to explain the situation. Just remember that the bailiff has no legal right to enter your home unless you invite them in; if they try to gain entry by any method you should immediately call the police who will deal with the situation.

Get a letter from your lawyer. Cost approx ($250)
Or get yourself notarized that states who you are in proof. Cost approx $ 50 then Contact Shier ff office and provide all documentations. If it persist than threaten civil actions and need be sue.

Show them id, rent book and tenancy agreement. Get a copy of their paperwork and follow it up through CAB or a solicitor.

This happened to me in southampton i told them if they came round again i would do them in i told my partner to phone me if they came round when i am not there they apoligised and left my advice is you have to stand up to them if you dont you will have problems be strong my friend its the only way
