Hey there..I need some advice..
There's this girl in school who is my bestfriend. The problem is, is that she overreacts whenever I talk to her crush, she won't talk to me anymore, she puts me down by calling me short in front of her crush, and she constantly compares her problems with mine, example: Whenever I have I problem, she'll just compare it to hers and she keeps on talking about herself all the time. She also criticizes me even if I don't do those things. Help! Is she insane? or a psycopath? Should I still be her friend?

Leave her... she overlooks ur problems and is only focused on her self.. she's being silly if she thinks that if she calls u short IN FRONT of her crush her crush wud lik her..... She's not worth it... find new true friends...

Hi There!
Well first of all you need to know for sure if she thinks you're her best friend . Sometimes friendships are only onesided, and that means one is being used for a replacement. Example - used for when the other is bored , lonely ,nothing better to do or one of my personal favorites.....when all her real friends are busy. Sorry for the sarcasm, I just hate users , hmmmm hate is such a strong word . Let me change that to dislike. Now let me ask you a question , if you know it upsets your friend that much Why would you keep talking to a guy that she has such a bad crush on?
Are you trying to be her friend by asking this guy if he likes her or if she even has a chance with him, or do you like this guy yourself . Maybe this guy likes you more than you think and your friend is picking up on this.
Now I know its hard to do since I don't know you or your life that you deal with, but why would you want to be someones friend who keeps putting you down, especially in public. The hard to do part would be to confront your friend tell her truthfully that your not interested in the guy , that you only talk to him as a friend , and then tell her how her words make you feel about yourself. Remember your the one with the power over yourself and noone can make you feel anything that you dont want to feel. Words are cruel and hurtful and they can also mean so many different things to each person that hears them.
If this is really bothering you tell your friend that she is being mean and distance your self from her, If you mean more to her she will apologize and come looking for you . You need to hang with people who treat you with respect, and makes you feel good just to do nothing or even something with them.
Hope this helps you somewhat , on a lighter note , if she is insane and you still want to have her for a friend . Finish your education get a career as a shrink and then you can get even with her by charging her for your help. On the other hand if she is a Psycho you might want to get rid of anything sharp and not hang around cliff edges....lol...
Take care , your young in school live your life to the fullest and if that means letting go of the partial good , bad and psychotic then do so .

No, that is not the right friends for you. Friemds are suppose to be there to make you smile, and be the shoulder you can cry on when somthing happens? Or she could know somthing you dont about her crush... Like maybe he likes you and not her. So she outs you down in front of him so he will look at her and turn his back to you.

Sometimes you learn that you were a better friend to some than they were to you. Ask your self would you except someone else acting this way towards you ? If not I suggest to move on and set your sites on someone who will be a good friend to you as you to them. Those people last a life time not between boyfriends.

I do not think she take you as her best friend, "she consider you her best friend " then she would not have treated you this way. yes ! i think she is a psycopath! she needs to get a life the girl needs "HELP"!! Let me give you a piece of advice , run like the wind from that girl , she is not you friend.

Completely ingnore her. Dont talk to her anymore, she obvioulsy sucks at being a friend, even more a best friend. She pretty much behaves like your a threat to her Bf, maybe she's scared that her Bf is going to leave her for you.

This girl is not your best friend, she is jealous inconsiderate and self centered.
She doesn't care about anyone but herself and obviously has self esteem issues. You don't need friends like that, drop this girl and find a new best friend!

Get rid of her now. She isn't a real friend. I doubt she is a friend to anyone. She sounds very self-centered.
