Bruce Wayne is far richer than Oliver Queen. Ollie lost his money due to a stock swindle in the 70’s, then became rich again through a lucky fluke. Wally West (Flash) was also rich for a time, due to having won the lottery, but Bruce was still richer. In Dark Knight Returns, Bruce Wayne is called a billionaire.

In terms of his properties and business interests, Wayne owns Waynetech and its many subsidiaries. Luthor, of Lexcorp is his only competition on that level. Wayne is probably comparable to Tony Stark (Iron Man), except that, not being an alcoholic, he did not lose millions while drunk and getting his companies taken away from him. Stark has had to start from scratch more than once. Wayne has never lst all his wealth. (Penguin froze his assets by court order once, but Wayne recovered them.)

However, the richest hero in the DC universe is Steve Dayton (Mento), who married Elasti-Girl of the Doom Patrol and was the foster father of Gar Logan (Changeling). He was often called the ‘third richest man in America’. Dick Grayson had to admit that while ‘Wayne Manor is something, but this place (Dayton’s Long Island mansion ) has its own zip code!’

I don’t know whether Dayton is still active as Mento. It was implied that long overuse of the Mento helmet left him insane. He also went alcoholic. Wayne may currently be the richest hero, or the richest one that is not off his rocker.

I'd have to say that Tony Stark (Iron Man) would have quite a bit more money than Bruce Wayne. The Green Arrow went bankrupt a while back, didn't he? Batman may have the batcave, batmobile, a mansion and gadgets, but any one of Stark's newer armor suits would cost more than this stuff. He funded the Avengers for decades, mansions, quinjets and all. He's also done some huge contracts for shield and the military. Bruce Wayne is smart, but he's got nothing on Tony Stark's engineering talents. Stark pretty much has a total monopoly on all weapons technology for Shield.

Toss up between Stark and Wayne. Both have government contracts, Starks is larger than Wayne Enterprises, but Wayne has a lot of financial properties to it. You would have to see what each would be trading on the market and see how many shares Tony and Bruce have in their companies, do the math, and wa-la. Unless we are given that by the comic community, we will probably never know. I like Bruce better so I am going to give it to him.

Hard to say, Bruce Wayne is certainly a good candidate. So is Tony Stark, Warren Worthington III, Janet Van Dyne and a host of others. Just a guess, but I'll give it to Bruce Wayne. Tony Stark just gifts too much real estate and equipment to the Avengers (East coast, West Coast, Force Works). Bats keeps most of his toys and research for his own use.

Bruce Wayne (Bats) has high tech weapons and high tech gadget suits as seen in Batman Beyond. He even launched the Justice League watch tower independently.

If you are talking about the richest person in all of comics not just superhero. I think you have to put Richie Rich's Dad on the top of the list then uncle Scrooge McDuck these guys have tons of money and don't lose their fortune for a storyline like Ironman and Greenarrow have.

I was going to say it was a toss up between Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark, but then I thought Stark Industries must have a HUGE GOVERNMENT CONTRACT to supply SHIELD with all their high tech gear. You can't just pick up replacement parts for the Helicarrier at Pep Boys, you know.

Add to that the cost of tech for Iron Man, War Machine, and Spider-Man's (before he quit Tony) gear.

I'd say that Tony nets more than Bruce.

in the new batman "Batman Begings" Bruce Wayne is a multi-billionare. So him owning his own world wide company would diffently classify him as the richest. Think about it, what other super heor has his own company?

only because they use the note "great" would not advise that they must have powers. I evaluate him a marvelous hero because he's great!!!!! they don't call Superman as great ability hero, only a marvelous hero. i imagine Batman is more suitable positive than the different hero. he's the perfect great hero Ever!!!!!!!! Congrats on desirous to be a firefighter, in case you develop into Batman. i'd marry you!! LOL. haha
