forces between Mg+2 and O-2 IS stronger than between Na+ and Cl- caz estimating formula : F=q1q2/r^2 (q is charg and r is radios) in MgO q1=q2=2 therefore F becoms stronger (r is diffrent between these 2 compound but the effect of q is more)
