He has made over 11000 runs as an opener, so looking at his record one would definitely argue of him batting as opener. But I would say that he is now the most experience player and should take the responsbility to bat at no. 4 and take the initial pressure after early wickets. He is a great player to have at that no. With that oposition will always be aware of the fact that match is not over yet. And with him having at that no. will give India a chance to chase down 300 also even after finding themselves in a position like "0 for 2". Building the Innings then start his onslaught. Just like the way Ponting bats. I´not going to say Inzamam beause he keeps hiding himself from early seam movement of Kookabura balls. He keeps sending youngsters ahead of him and only comes to take his to team to in score excess of 150; like the way he did in South Africa.

And if Chappell and Dravid think otherwise then they can send hm at any position, as his name suggests, 10dulkar, that he can bat anywhere apart from no. 11.

Number three or four. I think Sachin Tendulkar is to India what Mohammed Yousaf is to Pakistan.

I also believe India are the strongest team from the sub-continent capable of lifting the World Cup. I expect a South Africa-India final.
