Was this program to delibratly put people off meat, the journalist looked disgusted and even though he was giving a running commentary looked one sided. What was the purpose of this show?

My mum said she will still cook it, and eat it the same way.

Surely it's a good idea to educate people about where their food is coming from because if you eat it, you are paying people to do everything you saw in that programme. Shouldn't we be making informed decisions about these things? Do you really think you should just walk into Tesco's to buy your food and completely detatch yourself from what you're funding?

You may very well decide to keep eating it anyway, that's fine, the point is that we should all know what we are paying for and supporting because some people might not want their money going to this industry, and will be really grateful they found out before they spent another dime on it.

It's crazy to complain that they're just trying to put you off- do you just think it's OK that these things go on, and it's OK for you to pay for it, as long as you don't know about it? People need to grow up and take responsibility for what they do, indirectly or otherwise.

This is ONE programme, which, - for CERTAIN, - I am VERY GLAD, that I MISSED! Still, - even, if I had SEEN it, - I can assure you, that, - whether it TRIED to, or NOT, - it would NOT have put me off MEAT!

The truth IS, that, a spell of WORK EXPERIENCE, at an ABBATOIR did THAT, more than TWENTY YEARS ago!

The whole experience was NOTHING, short of ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I was supposed to BE there for TWO WEEKS, - but, I walked OUT, on the FIRST MORNING, - and NEVER went BACK! My HEADMASTER was LIVID, - until HE went, himself! He lasted LESS time, there, than I DID, - before HE was physically SICK!

The purpose of this show is to shock. It has no serious purpose though it will pretend to have a pseudo-scientific purpose. Programme makers are running out of ideas and want to shock us cos it increases viewing figures. Real gladiatorial contests will be along before long. If you want to have an impact don't watch it.

Where do you think eggs, milk or meat comes from? A supermarket?
I love going fishing and eating what I catch, it's a basic human instinct.
