I have used Yahoo as my search engine for some time now but not had any problems. Recently though when I get the 'results' back and go into them, it just takes me into other search engines such as Netser and various others. It seems to go in 'turns' as to which one it goes into. I have also tried others such as Google and MSN and the same problem is happening. Please can anyone assist? Many thanks

Your browser are being hijacked... You need to remove that hijacker.

Run stinger and spyware remover.

The srtinger load it to external storage such as floppy or usb drive and run from there.

Spyware remover the ad-aware load it to your pc and run it after the stinger run.

When running the stinger, disconnect temporarily fr, Internet.

This is a browser hijack. You need software to remove it, then more to prevent it in future.
Sswitch off System Restore as back up files may be hiding in there, and it will just restore itself. Go to Start - programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.
Run your anti spyware in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode repeatedly press the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads. You'll know if you made it because the screen will be at 800 x 600 and your pc will be slow.

You need all these anti spyware programs;
http://www.ewido.net - AVG(Ewido) anti trojan.
http://www.safer-networking.org - Spybot Search and Destroy anti spyware. Use the Teatimer settings to protect Internet Explorer, and the Immuniser to stop malware getting on your pc.
Spywareblaster works with Internet Explorer and Firefox. It won't uninstall spyware that is already on your pc, but it will prevent hijacks and other malicious changes to your browser.

It sounds like you may have some sort of Spyware or Adware. Running a virus scan alone probably wont fix this. try this free download: http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html. It is called Ad-Aware by Lavasoft. If you have Spyware, or (more than likely) Adware, it should pick up on it. Just make sure you update it before you scan, and periodically update it fairly often. Do the same for whatever virus scan you use as well. Hope this helps!!

I have no problems with Yahoo, MSN nor Google at all...I mostly search at http://www.exalead.com -- it's a German search engine and excellent...but, I am also using Yahoo, Google, etc for my searches.
Maybe, you might have a spyware on your computer. Check it with SpywareTerminator and Spybot Search & Destroy...Both softwares are free.

Greetings from Germany
