When you feel happy, you wish it would last forever, but if you tend to be negative like me, you expect it to end.

When you feel sad, you want it to end but (if you're negative) you fear that it will last forever.

The good news is that no nothing lasts forever, so no matter how bad you feel, it will pass. Time heals all wounds. The cliches are true.

If you didn't experience sorrow then you wouldn't know true joy. Life is filled with ups & downs. Allow yourself to cry when you're sad. It will not last. Just get it out instead of trying to deny it. It will pass & you will laugh again.

There is no point worrying. Worrying never stopped anything from happening. It's ok to be sad sometimes. We all feel it. It doesn't last forever. It's a part of life. The important thing is not to dwell on it, not to let it overwhelm you. You have to look for the beautiful things in life. Be positive. Find something to be happy about. Love yourself, no matter what. & know that you will be ok. Tomorrow is a new day...

Xeno
We all have very delicate lives we never know what just mite happen in the next moment thus ne moment that is not filled with pleasure makes us restless moreover after looking people enjoying the same moment u r regretting makes one feel sad.

But this is wrong. First of all what is sadness, scientifically its just a secretion of a chemical in your mind but what it affects is your productivity and ur effectives towards society which makes feeling sad a bad alternative.
Believe in yourself and always know this whatever has happened to you statistically 13000000 people r facing still worse circumstances

My personal motto in life is "Everything passes".

During the sad moments of my life this gives me hope, in me knowing that even this terrible experience will soon pass on.
When things seem to be going my way this motto keeps me humble - because like the bad moments, the good moments also pass.
Worry is natural, but keeping this in mind often helps me to think more clearly on the problem at hand.

Hope this helps.

You make absolutely no sense !! Human nature is what it is . Some people are just more sensitive to agression, immoral ways, you name it. You are a prime candidate for some HEAVY DUTY COUNSELING.And STAY IN SCHOOL !!Are you medically qualified to make judgements on how long depression and other mental illnesses can last ? YEARS !!Try leaving the "weed" alone for a week or two and WAKE UP !!

Well, if you read a bit of Dalai Lama, you will come to realise that nothing is forever.
And that concearn feelings as well.
Everything is a process, as well as pain and sorrow, its a naturall process of the human nature.
If we did not respond to pain, we would not react to happiness either, as that is not permanent either.
As everything has a meaning, we have to go trough things, even if it hurts, and that is completely natural(if not very necessery)

Because some people are afraid that in that time of sadness, something important will be gone away or shall I say they are only afraid to be hurt and they think that it is very hard to move on.
