I think what you're talking about is the same thing that happened to my friend. If this is the same thing all you need to do is disfragment it, and delete any downloaded programs you dont need. I do need more info.

sounds like some sort of bug or something , my question have you download any type of software since you reinstalled, sometimes certain programs , like weather software will cause a computer to stall. can you think of any thing that you have downloaded since you got your computer back from the shop. im thinking maybe you have, and if you come up with what maybe you have downloaded from the Internet, if so go into the control panel and uninstalled it and see if that helps. sometimes certain software programs affect computers and don't configure right within the systems and cause stalling and freezes, i thinking that might be your present trouble ...hope this help you ,have a great day..

there are plenty of possible problem, first check your computer's fan, it should be working, then another cause is video memory if you are playing a high resolution game and your video card memory cant support it, then it will hang. then another cause is a faulty USB port or a USB device, esp. USB storage devices attached to your computer like printers, mouse, keyboard, portable hard disk and the like.

You have a clash of programs that are fighting to grab part of a program at the same time you need to System Restore back to before you installed the last program just before the trouble you are having.
