That would be inaccurate though. Most often people listen to music because it reflects how they feel and not because it makes them feel that way. By listening to it they are able to vent their emotions through it. Its kind of like cheap psychiatry. If you were depressed wouldn't you like to hear someone actually understand how you feel?

Well of course teenagers tend to listen to that stuff, especialy the depressing ones. Don't you see the depression oozing out of teens?
