Hi, does anybody know where I can get an unbiased consultation about what makeup/moisturiser is good for me without someone trying to make commission on the products they sell? Thanks. I live in Kent.

I would hope that the person is only selling the product because they believe in it and that it works for them. Everyone skin is different that's why we have choices. Can you get samples and try for yourself? I sell Mary Kay and I would be happy to send you free samples and give you free information\advice. I personally only want people that love the skin care to but it when your happy you tell you friends your happy and so on when your not well it works the other way anyone can make a quick sales but to me it;s about building relationships and providing service.

Good Luck !

Treat yourself to a day at the saloon. Get your hair and makeup done by professionals at the same time while asking questions. I'm sure they would be more than happy to give advice.

Thats a really good question! Its hard because everybody wants money dont they and commision!

I always buy a magazine and look at the tried and tested products and see whats rated the best!

Have a look at this as well--

go to a beauty salon and ask for a makeup lesson tell them you just want to know what tones look best with your features, skin colour and hair and eye colour. Tell them that you don't particularly want to have to stick to the one product and that you are not looking for a leson with the intent to buy you just want general advice. If you tell them exactly what you want you are more inclined to get it and not be pushed into things.

I seriously doubt it if you go to one of these stores.

you could call someone that makes up brides for their wedding day.
They have nothing to lose by being honest with you and they have nothing to gain.
do it, it may cost a few pounds, but at least you'll know what looks good and what works for you.
