A fragrant, east Indian grass, also called 'Sarsaparilla', which has the property of cooling the environment if water is splashed or made to flow over it, when spread across a window or door.
The sweet drink made from the extract of Khuskhus is very soothing in Summer, and has a cooling effect on the human body too.
