It's ok. I'll be 30 in June and I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with my life.

At 27 I still didn't know either! So don't worry! Just enjoy yourself. Search your soul. Follow your dreams. Do what you enjoy. Love yourself, others & the world. It's a beautiful world. Go out & explore it. Experience different things. You may not know what you want in life yet but you'll know when you see it. So go explore the different possibilities & let your bliss find you.
I can't tell you where or when you will find yourself. I could tell you to listen to classical music, to travel, even if it's just to take a walk in the woods, to explore nature, to talk to people, to be a keen observer, to not take anything for granted. & one day, you will reach an epiphany. You will have a lightbulb moment when it all becomes clear or maybe you already know the answer & you're refusing to see it...
Good luck!
Just enjoy yourself. Learn. Grow & make the most of your life. You are still very young. You have time.

Remember all the things you thought mattered when you were 18? Remember all the people who went on to devote their lives to what mattered to them when they were 18?
Yeah, it's perfectly fine that you don't know what you want in your life. You actually have your whole life to figure it out. I know it seems trite but if you knew all you wanted now, figured out how to get it all, and what you wanted never changed there really isn't much fun left to be had. Sure, you'd have everything (whatever that is) but what would there be left for the rest of your life?
It may seem easier for those who knew all along but there really isn't much left for them now. They know where they are, where they're going. Any life changing event will most likely be of the traumatic sort. Sad but, unfortunately, true.
You posted under philosophy. Your question touches the heart of that subject. Life is a constant search for that meaning. Enjoy the journey. It's what you experience and learn along the way that makes it worthwhile. Just keep yourself open to it.

Yes, sure. Oh i find people who know exactly what they want and have plans by 23 usually boring. Not ok is letting that paralyze u- u have to start (or keep) experimenting about what u want, how u want to live. Find out what makes u happy.... And if u think u want something thats not possible, if u r sure, find something else. There are always more ways to be happy and more things we can do in life.

I am reminded of the song, Wear Sunscreen. It is a article that was written by Chicago Tribune writer Mary Schmich (and has been turned into a song, and mistakenly attributed to kurt vonnegut)
some of the most interesting people I know at 20 don't know what they want to do with their lives, and some of the most interesting people I know at 40 still don't.
Life is about living, and discovering what you like, want and desire. Not everyone as a moment of "bing!" and the feeling of a calling. so what? who cares? It is your life. Explore, test the boundries, run around your living room naked, fall in love, and out of it, get arrested, just don't try to maliciously hurt people, and try to find what you like and want to do.
No matter what it may look like, most people are wallowing around in the lives they have. They are filled with quiet desperation, and anxiety. Most people muddle through life just like you are, and it just seems like you are alone. Your not.

There are a thousand beings, and more that do not know what they want until they are in their mid fifties, late sixties, or early seventies. Some know when they are in grade four.
Don't concern yourself about it.... what you want in your life will come to you when you are ready for it, and not until then.
Enjoy what you know now because the future is not guaranteed to a single soul beyond today.

No it's not okay. I'm 33 and I still don't know what I want. I wish I would have known or decided when I was younger because it's harder to get what you want in life the older you get.

Yep. I am almost 29 and am still fairly clueless. This planet has so many different choices and options, it can be hard to finalize that decision. It will come to you when you least expect though. Good Luck!
