Java and JavaScript are two completely different languages in both concept and design

Java (developed by Sun Microsystems) is a powerful and much more complex programming language - in the same category as C and C++.

JavaScript gives HTML designers a programming tool to put dynamic text into an HTML page

well my frnd JAVA is server-side scripting language.
whereas JavaScript is client-side Scripting language.
And also Java Script is used for making and designing Webpages whereas Java is used for Network Security and also some websites make java as their backend

Also Java gives more security when the system is operated in LAN.

So both are used for same purpose 1 for creating webpages and their views and the other is used for providing secrity for the websites.

Java is a programming language used to make programs.

Javascript is a programming language base on java used to make programs that runs on the Internet.

When you're browsing, sometime pops up message saying you don't have java enabled. That means your browser has it's option to run java disabled. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and make sure Java is enabled/ticked.
