What kind of person thinks like that? How can you marry someone for a short period of time and then divorce her? This only happens to movie stars. Come on, we live in a real world and there are lots of guys and girls out there ready to be friends and what is this nonsense about letting her down for goodness sake? This is not real man.

As ridicules as that all sounds I would say let them get married then she can waste his time taking all the time she wants to get a divorce

why does she want to get married to him if she knows it is only going to be for five months? I would advise her not to do it and break up with him - what is in it for him????? getting married for five months and then divorcing to marry someone else? it wreaks of something fishy - advise her against it, apart from spending all that money on a wedding for nothing in the end she is only gunna be hurt more

I can't imagining marying if you're not both ready for that. so my answer is do not advice them to marry. not if he is not serious about her. that will just leave her not only with a broken heart but with a huge bother to get out of the mariage again....

Your friend needs to find someone who cares about HER. Not waste her time with some jerk who wants someone else.

I'd tell her that there's someone WAY better than him out there and she should try to move on even though it seems hard she'd be better off.

she's still young, i'm sure the marriage would not work if the would-be husband doesn't love her. they both deserve to be happy. for the firl, she definitely deserves someone much better.
