Slack. Both parties becoming dependent upon each other for emotional, physical, intellectual companionship. For this you need slack. A live and let live attitude. Nobody is perfect, and the worst enemy of pretty good is perfect. So right away you know the other person is going to screw up, big time. So what, they are your person, they have your permission to be FUBAR. Requires slack. No violence, no hatred, no disrespect, just the certain knowledge that these humans screw up everything, so yours is no different, and neither are you. Need much slack. Home is where you are safe. It's not to be a battleground. Loosen up for love to grow.

1. comunication so you can get your point across
2. apathy so you can share the other person's hardships and thus understand where they are coming from
3. cuddles and hugs
4. complement each other to be the best team there ever is..
5. trust that they will look after you and not hurt you

respect is definitely the most important thing. once you have that the rest fall in line.
i just couldn't imagine loving someone and not respecting them. what would stop me from going all crazy on them and treating them like crap?
