Which airports are no more than 2 hours drive away from Edinburgh?Looking for a cheap flight to Turkey in summer,friends suggested flying from down south as it,s cheaper,but dont want to travel for hours on end to get there.Any suggestions?

Edinburgh Airport
Glasgow Airport
Prestwick Airport
Newcastle Airport.........but don't know where they all fly to!!

Edinburgh has an international airport. It's about a 15-20 minute bus ride from Princes Street and Waverly Station (bus 100 will take you straight there).
Otherwise Glasgow, and there's one in Dundee.

a place called Turnhouse airport 9 mile out of city, as for flying to turkey from there that may be another problem , you could get a internal flight to another airport that does, the phone directory your best bet and check with airport

i imagine Heathrow has it truly is own station with trains to London Paddington. This takes about 15 minutes. besides the undeniable fact that you'll take the London Underground. besides the undeniable fact that, that is way slower into efficient London and may take about an hour.
