hi ive just done a test this morning and in the box to say you are pregnant there is a faint pink line dose that mean im pregnant ive been hungry and tired alot more aswell please help me

he positive line is really faint. Is this okay? An HPT tells you exactly one thing: your urine either has detectable pregnancy hormone in it, or it doesn't. The darkness or lightness of a line doesn't mean much. Generally speaking, a very light line can mean there is a small amount of hCG in your urine, and a very dark line can mean there is a larger amount of hCG in your urine. This is why you may get a faint positive at 10 DPO but a darker positive at 18 DPO. However, this is not always true. Tests are all different, and even tests in the same box may differ in sensitivity. Comparing light/dark lines will just drive you nuts. If you see a line in the "results" window, you're preg!

Yes, its sound like you are pregnant. If the line appeared within the time duration set for reading time (says on instructions on box) then it is accurate. Any line that appeared after the reading time set should be disreguared as this could be an evaporation caused by the fluid entering the test stick. The test box will clearly say how long your result is valid within / for and when you should throw the test away.

If the line appeared within that specific tests guideline timeframe and it isnt a ghostly faint line id say CONGRATULATIONS are in order.If youre finding it hard to believe your eyes get another test and do another for fun if that babys there itll still be there on the next test!Its hard to believe for the first few days but you get used to it.And dont just sit there reading this go get on the phone to your docs and give your little one the best start.Best of luck to you

Hi--usually home tests are almost guaranteed--so lemme start with a congrats-any other symptoms giddiness,heaviness of the breasts,easily tired--nausea,frequency of urination.lite headedness -any or sum of the above syptoms wud indicate a sure pregnancy-go take a lab test in 2 weeks just to reconfirm
