don't tell me to use smaller ones.
I am just asking in case of emergency!!!!!!!!!!!! like being outside the city or during travels by air and so on.

possible, but not likely. it depends entirely on your body, every woman is different. if for example you have a cribriform hymen then you would definintely break it by inserting a tampon. however for most women, using a tampon will not rupture the hymen.

Yes, the hymen is very thin. It idea to make sure that you are using the correct size or absorbency for your flow. At the beginning of your period you may use a heavy one and later taper off to a less absorbent. It can be broken by a tampon but, generally does NOT pose any health risk. It is a membrane that is meant to be broken.

The hymen membranes can be thin or thick, wide or narrow, and can be stretched instead of torn. It's also possible that they hardly exist, or are naturally completely closed. Almost anything is possible - women come in all types. Unless you're from a culture where you need to keep it visibly intact, it's not really something to worry about.
