Do you think this person is off putting?

For example, today I made this phone call to a professional company and now they are a disgrace. I asked a question "What is the cost of the manual 2003?" And then, she just laughed at me, waited about 2 minutes and said "Could you repeat the question?"

Personally, I think this person is very immature and horrible to there customers.

What do you think?

Maybe she was speaking to someone before she answered your call and was laughing in response to that. She was distracted so she asked you to repeat your question. People in those types of customer service jobs probably get bored easily so they talk among one another and joke around. She probably got wind of a good joke and was laughing when she answered your call.

I think she had another conversation going on and was not listening to you. I have found that most companies have enough employees like this. It is immature and makes customers wonder about the quality of service they provide.

Well today being Monday she probably had one heck of a weekend, and she had to deal with all kinds of cr*p, just made it to work and the car broke, now someone asks how much does this manual cost, well you see where I'm going with this..................

As a customer you deserve a better answer. But I just can't help wonder are you sure you had the right extension or department?
