I ranked the 2 newer defenses first and second simply because nowadays defensive players can hardly touch offensive players without drawing a penalty. Which makes their jobs so much harder and they still do it to perfection. Its no disrespect to the other defenses.

All have got to be the great years of the Steel Curtain. They were a dominant force to be reckoned with in those years. They had 5 shut outs in the 1975 season I want to say.
