I was thinking a black barbie...some math, and drawing books (she loves math and drawing)

You could decorate a cardboard box and fill it up with presents like a doll, stuff for school, cookies, pictures of your family, and funny little things like yoyos, colouring pencils.... Maybe you can also put in a little bag of goodies that she can share with her friends.

I think your choice of present would be good. All these things would give pleasure and be hard to buy there. However, if you are sending it by mail, you had better be warned that in Tanzania they charge duty on the price of the goods plus the cost of postage, which can make receiving presents prohibitively expensive. If you are sending through a special system organised by the sponsor organisation, there is presumably no need to worry about this.

I think you have already got a very good idea on what type of present to give her. I will only add that in a good math learning game will be highly useful too. But do not send them via post, but via a friend or a particular organisation which runs the programme.

where do u live..curently here Tanzania the children are aware of the Computer and the games..i think an Ipond or laptops where she will learn graphic design for kids programmes will be good idears as long as she loves drawing

it easy to give people presentbut hard to think what to give ?Right?To me if i am a father i would give her my caring and love slmple and sweet :)of cost give her some girl toy.
