How did the Bush administration get richer from oil by invading Iraq?

The oil is one thing. That is what is coveted by the Rockefellers.

Most of the obscene wealth they are making, all of them including the Clintons, comes from the constant sale of arms and vehicles that their factories make. They make from sales and the Americans pay a ton through taxes to pay for those things.

They make it from contracts for reconstruction that is not followed through on.

Even as Iraq verges on splintering into a sectarian civil war, four big oil companies are on the verge of locking up its massive, profitable reserves, known to everyone in the petroleum industry as "the prize."

This is a very detailed story on the distribution of oil and the current situation in Iraq.
"Bush's Petro-Cartel Almost Has Iraq's Oil"

Iraq is sitting on a mother lode of some of the lightest, sweetest, most profitable crude oil on earth, and the rules that will determine who will control it and on what terms are about to be set. Iraq's energy reserves are an incredibly rich prize.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, "Iraq contains 112 billion barrels of proven oil reserves, the second largest in the world, along with roughly 220 billion barrels of probable and possible resources. Iraq's true potential may be far greater than this, however, as the country is relatively unexplored due to years of war and sanctions." For perspective, the Saudis have 260 billion barrels of proven reserves.

Making Money on Terrorism by William D. Hartung
"Halliburton is raking in billions from the Bush Administration's occupation and rebuilding of Iraq. But in the long run, the biggest beneficiaries of the Administration's "war on terror" may be the "destroyers," not the rebuilders. The nation's "Big Three" weapons makers--Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Northrop Grumman--are cashing in on the Bush policies of regime change abroad and surveillance at home"

**War is the most profitable business on earth. Take away the profit and there would be no war.

What makes it work so well, is that big business and munitions makers work hand in hand. Big business profits are protected by the military, which is a cottage industry for incompetents with a royalty, very well paid officers... and enlisted men, cannon fodder.. who is supplied by munitions makers who profit by supplying the military. All the fat cats make big bucks. The working man civilian pays for their party, and the enlisted men die. Yes, war is very profitable.

Cost of America's War in Iraq ... $405,595,596,473... rises faster than you can blink. Think of all the kids that would educate!

Number Of Iraqi Civilians Slaughtered In America's War on Iraq - At Least 655,000 + + And do not forget the genocide that will continue to go on as the result of not only war but its aftermath, depleted uranium as more and more babies are born hideously deformed and more adults suffer. This is Genocide.

Number of U.S. Military Personnel Sacrificed (Officially acknowledged) In America's War On Iraq 3,173
This does not mention the hundreds coming home poisoned also by depleted uranium and having deformed children, suffering themselves terribly, and passing cancer on to their wives as a result of this exposure. The medical bills will be horrendous. This is how Russia fell, exposure to depleted uranium from careless usage of it.

About 1/2 of the oil shipped from Iraq comes to the US! Bush has long had ties with the oil industry, just as others in his family have and in his administration, especially Dick Cheney! They are the driving force for 4 trillion in profits from oil drilling in the Caspian Sea!

Bush on his 2005 Income Tax received 1.7 million from the Loan Star Trust, which I assume are his stocks being held while he is president!

Bravo Barbara L!!! Cudos to you.
Check the Halliburton stock and Mobil profits. And if you have the notion that none of it trickles up to the administration you probably also think that we went to Iraq because there were WMD there.

The reality is....

He didn't get rich from invading Iraq.

Why would we invade Iraq for oil when we haven't taken any? That is the question that has never been adequately answered. Maybe, just maybe, we actually invaded Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom for...*gasp* ...Iraqi Freedom.

Well, Cheney has all his Haliburton money. There was a lot of government contracts handed out wastefully. Money missing, too.

But I don't think the oil was the source of the revenue. I think it was all US TAX DOLLARS.

And the billions and billions of dollars of debt that President Bush has left us with. Some fiscal conservative!!!!
