hate and intolerance? Can they not see the contradiction and irony? Nothing shows a persons moral fiber better than letting off a string of profanities followed by a racial or gay slur or two.

I do agree....but there is one very important point here...a person who has to tell you how moral they are , is not that moral. A person's moral code is what they live, not what they say. The true test of the morality of a person is the honor and dignity with which they live their lives...and those who practice hatred and intolerance have neither honor nor dignity. They are, by their very nature, immoral.

First off people shouldn't brag. Secondly, we each have our own beliefs, and this and many countries in the world are based on religions that condemn homo-sexuality. I personally do not hate people for something they cannot help, but if science proves it is a chemical imbalance, then I would say that a chemical balance should at least be tried. Either way I don't think homo-sexuality should be talked about it public situations where it makes people uncomfortable -- it shouldn't be shoved down people's throats (no puns, etc. intended). If the above doesn't happen to be the fact or the cause, then -- I say live and let live and do it with dignity and privately. I'm not saying hide, just don't flaunt. As I don't crawl all over my partner in public.

It's like I've said before. A person who lives his life spewing talk of Bibles and Jesus but doesn't live by Jesus' word doesn't know Him in the slightest. I take comfort in knowing that these people are not Christians at all, but heathens who are seriously going to get theirs when the time comes.

Your point should be considered carefully. I've noticed the same response. I don't support Machiavellian answers. Its not about win at all cost when advocating political, social, economic or other important topics; but more social responsibility towards the future and current generations in our society.

Tanya----you are so right----and I am one who is guilty of having done that very thing------I'm sorry.----here's one more clue that we had better not get too stiff-in the knee's to get on our faces and pray every single day. I try to walk the walk but it does require that every single day I have to make that choice to serve Him another day.. I am FAR from perfect but do love the Lord and wish to bring hope to those who are scared and confused.
I do get angry sometimes-----------I'm only human.
I will try to be kinder and just offer help.
