Good hygiene curbs the spread of disease . Hand washing is the most important because the hands come in contact with many objects that have been touched by others . Cleaning the hands before eating cuts down on cross contamination and reduces the possibility of picking up a disease from another person or animal. Clean water is a must for hygienic environment.
