sometime Pets are very useful to us. some time they gives us refreshment and we care them like our family mambers.even sometime they are very colse to us then family members..........wht reason behind it..........

I love my dog and definatly consider her a familly memeber. She's always around, she sleeps with us, and is always happy to see one of us come home. I love her.

Connection, you are never alone with another living creature near you. You can say anything to a pet, and you'll get unconditional love from it. That doesn't happen in all relationships. You can touch a pet and care for it which makes us feel useful and helpful. It calms us down because we feel we have a purpose to care for the pet. We take care of it. We provide shelter, love, food and companionship.
Some basic human needs are to have a purpose, feel connected and to be accepted. Pets fulfill all those needs.
My above answer refers to pets you can touch and are not always contained, such as fish, spiders, snakes, insects and others like that.

I had the best ever Dachshund for 10 years until she passed away.
But she was my constant companion and best friend. She just knew my moods and always waited for me to come home from work. My husband and daughter used to complain that I treated my Dog better than them well I said Well She treats me better than you do. Just a nice way of telling you how Pets are good for us.

My dog is definitely a family member. She "listens" to me, she's always there to dry my tears, and she is unconditionally glad to see me.She helps me to alleviate stress and to put things back into perspective. As someone else also said, she sleeps in my bed with me, and she never complains when I wrap the comforter around me, unlike my husband. She also barks to let me know when someone has come onto the property or into the park next door. I can't imagine having to live without her.

well its true pets r closer to us coz,1 cannot stay with us all the time but the pet is the one animal which will stay with all the time. have a good day with ur pet.

They should be treated as one. They make us happy, like our dogs. You must really give care to your pets to make them happy and to make it treat you as special people.
