I would like to start my own business for myself and my kids. I'm a single mother of 3 and I would like to start a cleaning business for starters and work my way from there. Later probly will open a DayCare. I just need some advice on how to start and what avenues I need to take if any. And how to advertise. Thank you for taking the time out for asking my question. There are companies here in the U.S. which sell franchises to people who wish to start their own cleaning business. My husband is Operations Manager for one so I know a bit about it. You can purchase your basic cleaning materials etc. from the franchise company. They provide you with training on all the different types of cleaning e.g. stripping, waxing, polishing and general floor cleaning and other skills required to do industrial type cleaning. They then provide you with contracts for businesses and provide ongoing support and advice to you. They get paid by the businesses and then pay you your share. It means you are not totally on your own and you can get support and advice any time you need it. You can request contracts that suit your location and hours you wish to work.

The way that you'll have to start to do that is you will have too make totaly sure that you are finctually stable enought to support your self as well as your childeren before you go with this venture.
Then Youll need to make sure that here biz plan of yours is not like anyone elses basicly unique. then your own Company name that is not already being used and active.
Then your supply of the things you will need alot of in order to keep up with all the needs of the Customers of yours.
Do not worry about putting an advertisement out till you are sure that you want to do this thing on going and not like here at one leingth of time month or what have you else then suddenly stop it all together.
After that then you will know how sirius you are about it plus keep being sure and making sure you are able to support yourself and your Childeren if you feel that its not a long term thing then its best not to wate time on the venture or money on the ad.
