The most important thing is besides your Protagonist you will need an Antagonist, a Guardian, and a Cotagonist.

Protagonist- Can be major character the story is built around
Antagonist- Character that plots to change the idea of the Protagonist.
Guardian- Is a Side-Kick that will help the Protagonist accomplish what he/she starts out to do.
Cotagonist- Is a character who can swing either way- at anytime.
The art is to place the people in the roles where they will be best effective. Start brain-storming and get a chronological time order this might help to place them.
I'm working w/ this myself now w/ a software program called Novel Writer. Two more I have is called Writer's Dreamkit. The latter is a much larger software which demands a lot of technology imparted.
I dowloaded both Helps on the software. A novice is better off w/ Novel Writer.
You also may find help on the Internet on different writer's sites; such as Writer's.com or Writer's Digest.
I use both

Well actually that's a common problem in comics writers. All you have to do is know your characters. When drawing one, make sure that you focus on that one, great focus and also,be sure that you are in the mood to draw.

start up with the hassle-unfastened paper and pens, and in simple terms start up with sketches of the characters, do you decide on it to be a woman or boy, long hair or short hair, hues etc. then as quickly as you get the basics, write down significant factors approximately your tale line, and start up attempting distinctive expressions on your character's face to slot in with the factors, case in point, if one in all your factors says he had a feeling he replaced into being watched, attempt to discover a scared face to your character. as quickly as you finished all of this, then draw a sq. or in spite of of actual everyone of your significant factors. that way, you have already got your first draft accomplished. you could then edit each and all of the pictures on photoshop or in spite of, and set up it and edit it and do in spite of it takes to get it suitable. YOUR finished!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =P ahah, solid luck!!!
