I'm not asking if this is ok. But is there anyone else out there who is doing it to. Im doing the friends w/benefits thing with an ex lover. I still love him and very attached to him. He doesn't love me back. Very hard to give up addictions, especially when it has to do with love.

I found out my husband had an affair on me 2 yrs ago. I tried to work on my marriage, but it didn't work. We haven't had sex since his affair.Im with my ex because I never got over him. I do agree, I am being used.

Tell me about it...:) I did that friends with benefits like you...in the end I broke it off...because my heart couldnt take it. He's since moved interstate and I have ceased all contacts with him...problem is if he ever show his face at my front door I would let him in and it would be like it was....lol..cannot get over him no matter how hard I have tried...fingers cross this time...
My advice cease all contact...try and concentrate on your family...if I can do it so can you...it's been a year now since I saw him last...I miss him but time will blur his memories..
I decided that the crumbs werent good enough...I wanted the whole cake...and that's what it was crumbs of time when he couldnt find anyone else..between girl friends...I was just his fill in person...lol to boost his ego...lol..then some days I just accept it as it keeps him near me...lol dont know which is better...falling apart because I miss him or falling apart because my heart can't take it...

Well i'm a man and i can understand that women have feelings also just do your man at home favor and use a condom.the last thing a guy wants is to go down on his wife and end up with a mouth full of some other guys mayo..if you know what i mean..and also if you by any chance get some kind of infection you don't want to bring that home to the innocent guy who is being faithfull..because i can guarantee you that your "friend" is not having sex with only you even though he may say so..and you should talk to your hubby about maybe joinning a swinggers group if it's a more exciting sex life you want..that way he can have some extra fun too

He is using you. Can you try to give all the attention to your husband, work on the marriage instead of giving all your heart and soul to the other, but he didn't feel the same. I know it is hard to give it up, especially you still love and attractive to him. But in the long run, soon or later your husband might find out and you are gonna end up loose both. And when you think that you take your husband for granted then it might be too late. For me, I rather be with some one who love me and be there for me then some one I love and did not love me back, and still using me after all.

I would quess hardly anybody is doing what you are doing. You risk losing your marriage, STD's, and being stuck with a guy (your ex lover) who only wants you because you "put out" with no strings attached. I hate to say it; but he probably sees you as an inexpensive prostitute.
Be careful--and change your ways.

Why are you letting him do this to you? I think you need to have a bit more pride in yourself. You are worth more than someone using you for an easy lay. Make a clean break from him avoid his booty calls and get out and find yourself someone who will LOVE you. Goodluck.
