The belt is in style right now. Wide belts that cinch in the waist are the latest thing. Problem is that you can't wear them if you have huge hips or thighs because they just emphasize that area of the body. They look great with dresses, full or pencil skirts, and most pants.

It is like a corset kind of. It is a cool belt, although I don't really care for the shirt that it is with in the picture.

I personally don't like it, because it looks too "bondage-y". The model looks great in just the jeans and tight-fitting white button blouse... the belt is actually drawing away from the outfit and sticking out like a sore thumb.

Makes a good, fashionable back brace.
They were selling things like this 26 years ago to wear during excercise to trim the waste and tummy.

It looks valuable. It probably gives the back some support and holds the ribs comfortably.

don't care for the belt, but am sure glad hubby didn't see the girl! lol
the function i guess is to bring attention to her other attributes!
