My favorite is the old standard American-style breakfast blend, and my preferred brand is Maxwell House. (Master Blend, thank you very much.)
I've tried the gourmet coffees, the Turkish blends, Louisiana-style, and many others and they just don't do it for me. I like the standard blends, black--no sugar--just hot enough to warm my body and strong enough to keep the spoon standing at attention if I let go of it while stirring.
