Except pure selfishness & something daft like "it's God's will"?!

Me can't think of any!

Personally I can't come up with a reason because I don't want children & don't plan to have any.

The only valid reason I can think of would be this: if you and your partner love each other so much & are so happy that you want to create a family & share your love & happiness with a child. You want to give them the best of everything & teach them how to make the most out of life & from this perfect loving family with all this support they will grow up to become extraordinary people capable of anything. They may even save the world...

I don't think this is how most children are born unfortunately. I think you are right to assume that it is often selfishness or carelessness & children brought into the world this way have the odds stacked against them. More unhappy people in the world makes for a more stressful, depressing & crime-ridden planet. It's sad. Many people get pregnant unexpectedly. They get pregnant to trap someone in a relationship. They get married or live with the biological parent because they think it's the thing to do & then end up miserable. If people were more discriminating about their partners, if they were honest with themselves & asked themselves "Is this really someone whose children I would want to have? Would I want to bring more people, like this guy, into the world?" This may prevent a lot of unwanted births & unhappy marriages/relationships...

People need to realize the consequences of their actions. Unprotected sex means you could get pregnant. Parenthood is an enormous responsibility. It's not something to be blundered into or taken lightly. Sadly some people have kids just because they think it's the thing to do at a certain age, or because their friends are having kids or because they think it will save the marriage (?! what kind of logic is that?!)

I love kids but I choose not to have them because I am aware of the huge responsibility & it overwhelms me. I'm not willing to give up my life to another little human that way. I'm not willing to give up my sleep, my hobbies, my dreams & everything else & devote every waking minute to another little person. They may be cute but I'm honest enough to admit that parenting isn't for me. When other kids were playing house & mommy I was playing rockstar & spy. My biological clock never started ticking. I'm an artist & a writer. My creations are my babies and that's enough for me.

I am not putting down anyone that has children for the right reasons: out of love. I think being a good parent is the most noble profession on earth. There just aren't enough good ones out there...

for the same reason you were born. This world may be cruel but not everywhere and it's not going to be cruel forever. so many people around the world enjoy their life (I don't mean they have everything, and they are pampered in the best way) you may find some handicapped children around the world who may not have even some basic things in their life. Not even a school to go to, but they are happy with life. This world is amazing, you can not predict anything, how would you know that tomorrow things won't change? How come you are so sure that it's going to get worse.

This is Nature. You can not swim upstream.

The world is also full of many wonders.

Gaze up at the night sky, take a walk along the ocean shore, build a sand castle, bake chocolate chip cookies, give a gift to a friend, take a stroll through the woods, climb a mountain, see the world through the eyes of a child, etc.

Life itself is a gift, so start looking at the bright side and enjoy the adventure.

So that you have someone to take care of you in your older years. Yeah, it's selfish, I know.

The world isn't totally cruel. There are so many wonderful possiblities both for the world and for the children that will be brought up in it. Sure lots of heartaches and pain occur but many joyful moments make up for it.

you're properly desirable in that you're literally not meant to attend until eventually they're a year previous. Cloudcity became thoroughly incorrect on that one. in case you do it, you do it as early as accessible (yet no longer before it truly is threat-free to do surgical treatment) so as that they have time to modify even as turning out to be. Declawing adjustments the attitude at which feet hit the floor, and so the muscle tissues of the legs and again favor to modify. one among my cats became already declawed (as a smooth kitten) and he thinks he nonetheless has claws. I by technique of no ability condone declawing cats, and that i understand many veterinarians who gained't do it. it truly is unlawful contained in the united kingdom and Australia, and the veterinary professors from those international locations that visit our college thinks we are undesirable for continuing the practice. As a destiny veterinarian, i wish that I in no way could declaw a cat. If it comes right down to it, it had more suitable positive be absolutely the very last motel (trimming, scratching posts, tender paws and each little thing else have already been tried). i'm no longer particular the position the concept that we are meant to declaw cats got here from, and the veterinarians that propose it outright favor to be hauled in the front of a board of ethics. We as veterinarians may be the first and bigger even as it includes teaching human beings about their pets. regrettably there are some unscrupulous veterinarians available more suitable interested in funds than the welfare of their sufferers. Be proactive, ask your veterinarian questions, and in case you do not experience suitable about his/her practices, get the heck outta circumvent and hit upon a more suitable positive vet!

Life is good and bringing somebody to life is meaningful. I do no agree with you about life being cruel. I am glad that I exist, and it is infinitely many times better than dwelling in the realm of nothingness. Bring children to this world and be caring enough to give them love. They will be thankful to you.

I agree with you. It's all about selfishness. (Nowadays, there are no "accidents". So many choices, precautions, etc) You only make a baby if you really want to...

try the lyrics if this song. You may find the answer, its about being pregnant

Pulsing away, just like thunder in your little ear
Be brave, it won't be long till you meet us

My blood is your blood
I'll feel you till the day I die
Dear little little, sweet little little

I love every little thing about you
Even though I can't see your shining eyes
I can tell I'm gonna love you
By the way I love you now

And it's your little little kick down below
Makes me feel the strength of a hundred forces
I never felt the power of a love like this before

Noises from outside, you hardly hea-ear at all
Your lifeli-i-ine pulses with anticipa-y-a-y-a-yation

No dark and dim thoughts
Confound your little hea-ea-ead
Floati-i-ing in paradise
Remember little little little

I love every little think about you
Even though I can't see your shining eyes
I can tell I'm gonna love you
By the way I love you now

See what you can do
And you haven't even showed your face to the world ye-et
You've got power we've forgotten
Everybody's born with, but they lose it

I love every little thing about you
Even though I can't see your shining eyes
I can tell I'm gonna love you
By the way I love you now

And it's your little little kick down below
Makes me feel the strength of a hundred forces
I never felt the power of a love like this before

And I love you little little
I-I love you little little little

also this verse is something to think about

Greatest Love Of All
I believe that children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
