I just want to know ur experience from hearing someone reading the koran.because there were scientific studies which had proof that listening to koran(even if u don't understand what it says)makes u feel peacful and calm.and help people with psycological problems.
what do u think?

That's very true, you should try it yourself. Read into it, it's a great religion. I converted myself. And by the way Allah is just like saying God in arabic, its not a different God.

I think calm feelings by listening to koran can be caused by the tone of the voice and not by the content. I think all holly books and religions are the same. They promise you anything in order to believe in them. Some people can find their peace when they feel something "higher" above, they give up the responsibility of life and live according to religious rules. But it's not enough for me to give up my freedom of thinking.

I heard more than enough of it during five years in Saudi Arabia. Since I don't speak Arabic, it was just noise. Considering the errors in it, it would be noise if I did speak Arabic.

the only time i ever may have heard it was from islamic chantings on tv. let me tell ya, it didn't make me want to pick up an a.k. and shoot it in the name of allah. it kinda made me mad and a bit more stupid...
