Yes i have followed all the steps and pressed the button on the back of the hub for 3 seconds to get it into wireless phone blinky mode. it just wont connect and register the phone,

Any ideas?

funny world this,i just connected my hub phone today so i will let you know how i did it
there should be a icon on your desktop or in your programs called"sign up bt broadband talk"you need to click this and it will direct you to the set up website
there you will see a box were you need to enter your bt talk telephone number and password, these should of been e-mailed to you or should be in a letter from bt,if you cant find it just contact bt but have your account details ready for i.d
when you have these just enter them in the appropriate boxes and then click next, you will then see another windows and the first section will give you a option to activate your hub phone, click this and then a tiny window will appear with a activate link in it,click this and then it should say "activated",you should then look at your home hub,and check that the phone light(last on the left)is lit
then what you should do then is register your phone to the base, press the center button on the hub phone and navigate to the register option, when you find it(its quite easy) you just need to register that base, follow the instructions and remeber to pick "base 1",then once this section is complete you will be ready to make a call
best thing to do is ring your home bt number, just to check you can actually make a call
finally just check the hub manager on your desktop to make sure its active on the hub
note:if you reset the hub for any reason you will need to go through the whole process again
i hope this has helped you ,it should work but if it still causes you problems best contact bt,also check the batterys aswell, the ones that come with it are rubbish
good luck mate
