Ask the system administrator to unblock the site you need to access, pretty much anything else would be unethical and probably against company policy (so you would be risking your job).

One option that might be OK (check your contract!) would be to provide your own Interent connection, e.g. through a mobile phone.

We allow this by turning off network access while you access blocked site access via a broandband card.

Or security model is to ensure we don't mistakenly allow a channel directly to within our network.

You need to bypass you local proxy server - you network admin would have create a routing table so that all traffic goes through the proxy server or their is a configuration in your web browser.

Do a search for open proxy servers and then change the configuration in your browser under "Tools, Internet Options" then choose "Connection" from the tabs along the top. Then go down to "Lan Settings" and put in the information provided by the open proxy server.

If you network admin has done their job right this shouldn't work, but it is worth a go.

Two easy ways:

1) Ask the system administrator to unblock them

2) Use a different computer, such as your HOME computer, where they aren't blocked.
