when that someone is called 'MOM'. My mom passed away last Wednesday (28.2.07). The last day in the calendar. Her b'day falls on the 12th May. Every year we would celebrate her b'day and mother's day together. Now she has gone. She left in a very peacefull way. She passed away in her sleep. She was not sick or had any illness. She just called my dad, he looked at her and her breath started to slow down. Within 3 seconds she passed off. It all happened so sudden and how she's gone. I know this is not a travel question, but she has completed her journey and is now in heaven resting in peace. I just like to share my sorrow with u all, cause many of you are like family to me. Even if we abuse or fight with each other, u guys are great. You will never know unless u lose them one day. Dont take thing or your family for granted, cause you will never know when God will call them home. "I Love You Mummy and I MISS You So Much" :-(

My condolences.

Life goes on. Think of her in a positive way and always remembered the things she have taught you to be a better person. I am sure you will appreciate having such a great lady as your mother.

Sarah,

I know how sad you must be feeling right now, and my deepest heart felt condolences go out to you and your family in this hour of great sorrow.

I know how sad you must be feeling because I also lost my mum around this time last year due to breast cancer (that is the main reason why I came back to England last year, to pay my last respects to her)

Every mum in the world is unique and special to their children and the love and dedication they give throughout their lives to their children knows no boundaries.

Other people who are reading this and your mum is still alive please take good care of her as she's the only one you got, and you can only have one mum in your life and she deserves the best.

Once again sorry to hear the sad news Sarah and may God's peace be with you.

I'm deeply sorry to hear that Sarah, although i do not know you much my heart goes out to you . May god bless her in heaven and let her soul rest in peace. Maybe this is the only way your mum leave her love ones without giving so much burden to you all...I hope you will be strong to face this reality..life goes on my dear....

I am really sorry to hear that. It SUCKS to lose a loved one, especially your mother. My heart is always going out to somebody who feels something that most people take for granted. I wish you all luck to keep a healthy balance of recovery and rememberance, and as they say in spanish, os acompaño en el sentimiento. Love and Respect.

Ia poem by Kahlil Gibran

A TEAR AND A SMILE

I would not exchange the sorrows of my heart for the joys of the multitude. And I would not have the tears that sadness makes to flow from my every part turn into laughter. I would that my life remain a tear and a smile.
A tear to purify my heart and give me understanding of life's secrets and hidden things.A smile to draw me nigh to the sons of my kind and to be a symbol of my glorification of the gods.
A tear to unite me with those of broken heart;a smile to be a sign of my joy in existence.
I would rather that i died yearning and longing than that I lived weary and desparing.
I want the hunger for love and beauty to be in the depths of my spirit, for i have seen those who are satisfied the most wretched of people.
I have heard the sigh of those in yearning and longing and it is sweeter than the sweetest melody.
With evenings coming the flower folds her petals and sleeps, embracing her longing. At morning's approach she opens her lips to meet the suns kiss.
The life of a flower is longing and fulfillment. A tear and a smile.
The waters of the sea become vapor and rise and come together and are a cloud.
And the cloud floats above the hills and the valleys until it meets with the gentle breeze, then falls weeping to the fields that joins with the brooks and rivers to return to the sea, its home.
The life of clouds is a parting and a meeting.A tear and a smile.
And so does the spirit become seperated from the greater spirit to move in the world of matter and pass as a cloud over the mountain of sorrow and the plains of joy to meet the breeze of death and return whence it came.
To the ocean of Love and Beauty- to God

my mother read this to me when my grandpa died....maybe it would help...sorry for your loss...
