Hi, yes you can do it. I have 2 x 360's working at the same time through my router. Bekin is ok but not as good as Netgear. You best check what router you want is mine is a wireless modem router. I am on ADSL and was told what I needed by my local comet store. Good job as I would have just bought any router and thought my usb modem would just plug into it. Not the case. If you have a normal bt line with usb modem you will need a modem router and do away with the usb one.

I have a netgear DG834G version 2 which is a 54mbps router. My sons 360 is hardwired to the router. My 360 is in a different room and is connected with the router via a belkin wireless gaming adapter. Not as good as netgear and took a while to configure. We both play on xbox live together in different rooms no problem.

If you need any help drop me an email. Have fun and maybe see you xbox live. By the way if you still play halo2 check out www.teamxlink.co.uk Its totally free and great for halo2 which you can play on the 360. You can download the extra map packs from xbox live.

You can put two XBoxes on a routor at the same time because they are going to be using 2 different ip address ie if you were to use a netgear routor the IP address would be 192.168.0.3 for one of the Xboxes and the other would be 192.168.0.4

There are two types of routors - 1 is CABLE ROUTERS
2 is WIRELESS ADSL MODEM ROUTERS

1 is CABLE ROUTERS - Wireless Cable Routers enable cable broadband subscribers (broadband through cable provision, e.g. NTL or Telewest) to wirelessly share a high-speed Internet connection with all their home computers.

2 is WIRELESS ADSL MODEM ROUTERS - Wireless ADSL Modem Routers enable ADSL broadband subscribers (broadband through standard telephone line, e.g. BT, AOL, Bulldog) to wirelessly share an Internet connection with all their home computers.
