Yes I know about the grammer issue! Its just that Knorr is a German name!

And the TV Commercial for ir in France goes: "Ka-nore, J'adore"

Meaning I love Knorr!

What I really wanted is the pronounciation of the food brand name Knorr!!

In German, we pronounce every letter. There are no silent constonants nor modifying vowel combinations -- with a couple of exceptions on the last rule I mentioned. For instance, it is "Porshay" for Porsche. In Europe we say Kay-nor. Knorr is part of Unilever, which germinated from British companies. Americans are used to the Latin silent "p" and "k" in English. So, it's a toss-up and I suppose wherever your location is where the conversation takes place.

I am in the MiddleEast region, and the TV Commercials here do pronounce the "K" in "Knorr"

I know in France they pronounce the "K" because the TV commercial goes:" Ka-nore, J'adore" meaning I love Knorr of course..

Knorr is German last name for the founder, you pronounce it with the K if you want...

I would go with the good old saying... "When in Rome, do as the Romans do!"

When in Europe do say Ka-nor.... when in America dont LOL! And so on!!

Right? ;-)

Knorr is a German brand and in Germany you definitely pronounce the K.
I guess you can call it "norr" for the below mentioned English pronunciation rules, but that's just the anglicized version.

Just like NOR - minus the K at the start and drop the last R.
