Is there anyone out there who can give me a legitimate answer as to why they think the models on this show are all dressed up like barbie dolls at a slumber party? What is the point of this? Their clothing has absolutely NOTHING to do with whether or not a contestant wins any amount of cash? Why, if the girls are dressed this way, is Howie also not dressed down to his skivvies? Can anyone say sexist?

I agree with you that the models are entirely unrelated to the actual winning of any money but apparently the producers think that their presence appeals to the viewing audience. I would like to see equal time with really attractive men opening the briefcases. That would be an interesting change and would probably have as much or more appeal to at least half of the audience, although it would still be unrelated to the contestants’ winnings.

It was originally a show from some European country I can't remember. It was there idea to have the wigs. So blame them.
What I find stupid about the show is that it is impossible to be good at it. A dog could play it. Yet people still justify their decisions with statements like:
"There are lots of blues left, ill probably get them next, so no deal!"
and
"There are lots of greens left, so if i hit one it wont really matter, so no deal!"
They use logic that contradicts their previous decisions as part of their reasoning.
But for some reason I love the show (The Australian version).

I`m female but I like to see what they`re wearing. It`s all window dressing for the show. Can you imagine a bunch of men saying HI HOWIE!

First off, who exactly is calling for Howie in his skivvies? Second, sex sells. Third, I'm sure one of these shows they'll have a bunch of chippendales types holding the cases, for the illusion of fairness. Fourth, please, no Howie in his skivvies! He'd do it too.

like most other media in the world today, this is what 'sells'. One day (probably far far away) they will have studly guys with speedos instead, lol! But until women start running the show...not gonna happen!:-(

its fan service, it gives a bit of personality to the briefcases, if you notice howie knows all their names, and someone has to open the cases.
