"anything"?? :-D
The climate of area is very interesting, because it contains so many different types.
Jerusalem is on a hill, that could be called a mountain, I supposed, and all the area around it is hilly.
The coast (Haifa to Ashdod) is mostly flat, more or less, but not like South Dakota, and hot and humid, raining during the winter. The Golan area is swampy in the valleys and has mountains that keep snow during the winter.
The Negev desert is not like the Sahara, not with dunes of sand, but with hard red rock. It includes Mitzpeh Ramon, which is a large (huge!) crater that was certainly there in the 1st century, created millions of years ago, by a river gouging out the foundation of a small mountain range until the mountain collapsed. (This is a geologist's theory, but it makes sense)

The National Geographic had an issue where they printed a picture of Jerusalem, as they thought it might have been, on one side of one of the maps that comes with the magazine. I can't find the issue online, but you should check out their site or the Nat'l Geo index at a public library and see if you can find that picture.
