Personally, I think they should go defense, particularly a linebacker. What do you think?

Uncledaddy, the Colts offensive line is probably the best in the NFL and one of the reasons the Colts beat the Bears in the Super Bowl. The Colts offensive line just plain killed the Bears good defensive line.

The Colts already have a good Middle Linebacker Josh H, it's Gary Brackett.

This class going into the draft is very weird. There are so many positions that are lacking. It might be the weakest QB and RB class we have seen in awhile.
So many underclassmen are high on the boards, and that spells nothing but risk. I agree the Colts can't go wrong going after a line backer. But, if they do go offense, it would make a whole lot of sense to go after a power back to compliment Addai's speed. Someone who could block as well as run the ball. Maybe Deshaun Wynn out of Florida.
One thing about it, the Colts don't really need a WR, but if this class has anything it is loaded at wide receiver. No way they will get Calvin Johnson or Robert Meachem. But, how nasty would someone like Dewayne Jarrett or Teddy Ginn be with Manning slinging it at them? Sick.....
But, if they do go defense. I think Lawrence Timmons out of FSU, or Brandon Siler out of Florida. Just padding all around for the Colts. No matter who they draft.

Rhoades is leaving, possibly for the Giants. I think the run defense needs to be tightened up and look for a good second RB behind Addai.
As much time as Manning has had to throw the ball all year, especially in the Superbowl, It would be hard to spend too many draft picks on the offensive line I'd think. They just flat beat the Bears off the ball in that game.
I agree. Build up the defense.

Their primary concern should be to get some help with the offensive line; THEN a couple of pass rushers either at outside LB or DE and where are the LBs that can stop the run AND drop back and cover a TE or RB. LBs seem to be one or the other these days.
I think they can take their time getting receivers. From what I've seen and heard of college football this past '06-'07 season, there is a plethora of good ones out there.
And btw, get somebody on special teams that teams will fear on kick and punt returns.

A WR to eventually take the place of Marvin Harrison in the first round. A LB or DT in the 2nd round. 3rd round, DT or LB. 4th, a safety. Then, a RD to back-up Addai.
